Design notes
A purely typographic approach was selected to capture the intangibility of verbal communication. At first glance, the cover is plain blue, but upon closer inspection, the cover text is surrounded by various snippets of indigenous chants and poetry, executed in spot lamination. It creates not just an understated visual effect, but a subtle tactile (i.e., sensory) experience as well.
